Stolen jewellery worth around £10,000 has been recovered by cops in Tonbridge. The items were reported stolen on Thursday 26 December 2024, from a residential property in the town and included earrings and a necklace.

Enquiries, assisted by the victim, led to the possessions being found at a second-hand goods store in the High Street.

On Monday 30 December, a 40-year-old woman, was arrested on suspicion of theft and fraud by false representation and was taken into custody. She is currently bailed with conditions to return to a police station on 29 March 2025.
