CCTV images have been released of a person police want to identify as part of an investigation into a reported assault in Ashford.

Kent Police was contacted on Wednesday 15 January 2025 and it was reported that a person jumped on the back of a woman as she walked down Maidstone Road. When challenged, he quickly left the scene. The woman was not injured during the incident, which took place shortly before 3pm that day.
Officers in the town are working to establish the full circumstances and have released CCTV images of a person who may be able to assist enquiries.
