A suspected burglar was apprehended by Kent Police in Dartford following an early-morning incident on Wednesday, March 12, 2025.
Officers responded to a report of theft from a High Street business at 7:52 am. According to Kent Police, a man allegedly entered the premises, which was not yet open to the public, and stole cash from the till. Reports indicate that members of the public intervened and restrained the suspect before police arrived at the scene.
A 48-year-old local man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of burglary and a public order offence. He is currently in custody as investigations continue.
