Detectives have issued a CCTV image and are appealing for dashcam footage following an attempted robbery in Gravesend.

The incident started in Rochester Road at around 4.20pm on Sunday 16 March 2025. The victim was riding a red Honda motorcycle when it is alleged two men on an electric bike kicked him multiple times as he rode through the town into Old Road East.

He then collided with some metal railings in Parrock Road, where it is reported the suspects assaulted him again and tried unsuccessfully to take the motorcycle. The two men left the scene empty-handed on the e-bike, that has the appearance of a motorcycle, and the victim was taken to hospital for treatment to serious leg injuries.

Investigators are now releasing an image of two people they would like to identify. Motorists with dashcam and residents with CCTV are being urged to check for footage that shows them between 4:20pm and 4:30pm, in Rochester Road, Lion Roundabout, Old Road East, Echo Square, and Parrock Road.
