A man from the Isle of Sheppey has been swiftly convicted of sexual offences following a rapid investigation by Kent Police. Oscar Robinson, 35, of no fixed address, admitted to sending a barrage of unsolicited, sexually explicit messages and a self-exposure video to young girls via a messaging app on Saturday, March 15, 2025.

The messages, containing sexualized language and graphic content, prompted immediate action after parents alerted authorities around 5:30 PM. Kent Police officers descended upon an address in Queenborough to begin their investigation.

The investigation quickly led officers to the Ridham Avenue area of Kemsley, where Robinson was apprehended on Sunday, March 16. He was subsequently charged with engaging in sexual communication with a child.

Appearing before Medway Magistrates on Tuesday, March 18, Robinson entered a guilty plea to the charges.

Detective Constable Jodie Rowson praised the victims’ bravery, stating,

“Predatory behaviour such as that displayed by Robinson can have a significant impact on victims and I would like to praise the courage of the girls in this case for coming forward. I would urge all victims of sexual grooming to report incidents to police, so that they can be fully investigated and perpetrators can be brought before the courts to face justice.”

Robinson is scheduled to be sentenced on Friday, May 9.
