A 17-year-old boy has been charged following a serious assault in Folkestone on Wednesday.

Police were called to Foord Road at 3:30 pm after a man in his 30s was stabbed. The victim is in a London hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The teenager is charged with unlawful wounding, knife possession, and crack cocaine possession. He appeared in court Friday and was remanded in youth detention, set to appear at Canterbury Crown Court on June 2nd. A 19-year-old man also arrested has been bailed.
