Detectives are appealing for public assistance following two incidents of criminal damage at an insurance office in Maidstone town centre.

The first incident occurred at approximately 1am on Monday, April 21, when it is reported that a suspect targeted the Allianz Insurance building in Fairmeadow, near the High Street. Paint was allegedly thrown over the windows, and the glass was subsequently smashed.

Further damage was then inflicted on other windows of the same premises between 8 pm on Monday, April 28, and 5 am on Tuesday, April 29. Investigating officers believe the two acts of vandalism may be linked.

Following initial inquiries, including a review of CCTV footage and door-to-door enquiries, police are now urging anyone with information to come forward.

Members of the public who witnessed either incident, or who may have relevant private CCTV or dashcam footage from the area around the times specified, are asked to contact the west Kent appeals line on 01622 604100, quoting reference 46/66076/25.
