Three individuals from coastal towns in Sussex have been sentenced following investigations into burglaries near Sandwich last autumn.
Detectives linked a vehicle to one incident through number plate analysis and petrol station CCTV. Subsequent inquiries identified the other offenders involved in a second similar break-in.
Following the arrests, one person admitted to a single burglary, another to two, and the third to one, with his sentence including a term for unrelated weapons offences. At Canterbury Crown Court, a 27-year-old received a 17-year term, a 32-year-old was jailed for six and a half years, and a 33-year-old received a two-year and two-month sentence.
