Firefighters spent nearly 17 hours tackling a significant house fire near Smallhythe Road, Tenterden, on Tuesday.

The alarm was raised at 01:34 AM on 17 February, drawing eight fire engines and a bulk water carrier to the scene. Working alongside Kent Police, SECAmb, and UK Power Networks, crews used high-pressure hose reel jets and main jets to bring the flames under control. The operation concluded at 18:25 PM.

No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire remains unknown.
