Fire crews were called to a seaside street yesterday afternoon after a vehicle burst into flames in Ramsgate.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service dispatched one fire engine to Marina Road at around 2:53 pm on Saturday, 23 May.

Upon arrival, emergency crews discovered a car well alight. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus tackled the blaze using a high-pressure hose reel jet, successfully extinguishing the flames within approximately 35 minutes.

The scene was cleared by 3:28 pm. Officials have confirmed that no one was hurt during the incident, and there were no reported injuries.
