Three golf carts were quickly discovered by officers in Edenbridge just half an hour of them being reported stolen.
Community Safety Unit Police received a report that the golf carts had been stolen overnight from Hever Road between 9.15pm on 21st and 6am on Friday 22nd May 2026.They conducted searches in the area and located the vehicles in half an hour.
They were recovered and returned to the owner. A car was also seized from the location and is currently being forensically examined.
Inspector Dan Hinrich from the Community Safety Unit said:
‘The successful recovery of these golf carts highlights how seriously officers take reports of theft and will do everything they can to find and recover stolen items. It was down to the strong community links and local knowledge of the officers that the vehicles were recovered so quickly.’
