It’s reported a 19-year-old man has been rushed to hospital with bloody injuries after being violently shoved through a glass door during a late-night street brawl in Kent.
The terrifying assault unfolded at around 10.20pm on Wednesday, 1 July, outside a local business on Charlotte Street. According to reports, an argument broke out between the teenager and a group of strangers. The verbal confrontation quickly escalated into violence when the young victim was forcibly pushed into a heavy glass panel, causing it to shatter dramatically on impact.
Emergency services were called to the scene after the victim sustained severe cuts and injuries to his arms and hands. He was immediately transported to a local hospital, where he continues to receive treatment for his wounds.
Kent Police officers rushed to Charlotte Street, but the group responsible had already fled into the night before the attack was formally reported. Detectives have launched a full investigation into the horrific incident and have already gathered initial witness statements alongside a thorough review of local CCTV footage.
Officers are now appealing to the public for urgent assistance. Detectives believe there may be key witnesses who have yet to speak to the authorities, as well as individuals who may have captured crucial mobile phone footage of the altercation or the suspects’ escape.
