Detectives have launched an investigation following reports of a man acting inappropriately towards several women outside a railway station in Kent.
The local police force received reports concerning a man who had approached multiple women outside Chatham railway station, attempting to engage them in conversation. During the incident, the man reportedly grabbed the hand of one woman and kissed it.
Following local enquiries, officers located a suspect matching the description in the nearby area of Ordnance Terrace. A thirty-five-year-old man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and has since been released on bail pending further enquiries.
The investigation remains ongoing, and officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who believes they may have been approached by the same individual.
