Kent Police report that around 7.47am on Friday 23 February 2024, a collision involving a man who was on foot and a reported tanker lorry occurred between Junctions 10 and 11 of the M20 coastbound motorway. Emergency services rushed to the incident but the man, who was in his 30s, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The coastbound carriageway of the motorway was closed between Junctions 10 and 11 while the incident was responded to and reopened at around 2.30pm this afternoon.
Enquiries to establish the full circumstances of the incident are ongoing and officers are appealing to anyone with information who has yet to speak to police, or who has relevant dashcam footage, to call 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/29916/24.
