Police in Kent are seeking witnesses and dashcam footage after a serious collision in Deal yesterday evening.
At approximately 6:30PM on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, a black Ford Transit Tipper travelling along Broad Street towards Queen Street was involved in a collision with a teenage boy on a yellow bike.
The young cyclist suffered serious injuries and is currently in a London hospital in a serious but stable condition. The van driver was arrested in relation to the incident and has been released on bail. Officers from Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit are carrying out enquiries and urge anyone with dashcam footage of the incident to contact them.
