Two men have been charged and remanded in custody after a man was stabbed during a group altercation in Dartford.
Emergency services were called to the High Street at around 8:30 pm on Friday, 11 September 2026, following reports of a disturbance.
Police patrols and paramedics attended the scene, where a man in his 40s was treated for stab wounds. He was taken to a local hospital for further medical care. He has since been discharged.
Officers recovered a knife and an extendable baton at the scene before arresting three people known to each another.
A 33-year-old local resident was subsequently charged with wounding with intent and possession of a bladed weapon in public, while a 49-year-old man from Swanscombe was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place. Both suspects appeared at Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 14 September, and were remanded in custody pending their next appearance.
A 37-year-old woman was released without charge.
