Firefighters were called by Kent Police to reports of a group of people trapped in a cave in cliffs at St Margaret’s Bay near Dover, this evening, 22 January.
Crews were able to reach the cave using a 40 foot ladder and guided the group to safety.
There are no reports of any injuries, but South East Coast Ambulance Service were in attendance to check over the rescued people as a precaution.
