Kent Police is appealing for witnesses following the death of a motorcyclist in Folkestone.

The man in his twenties from the Dover area died when the red Triumph motorcycle he was riding was involved in a collision with a white Peugeot panel van at the top of Dover Hill, near the junction with Crete Road East, at around 5.45pm on Sunday 10 January 2021.

His next of kin have been informed. There have been no arrests.

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit carried out initial enquiries at the scene and would now like to hear from any witnesses who they have not already spoken to, including anyone who saw either vehicle prior to the incident.

They would also like to hear from anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage that may assist their investigation.
