For four glorious days – Good Friday, Saturday, Easter Sunday, and Easter Monday (April 18th-21st) – the doors will swing open from 10 am to 4 pm, inviting you to step into a world of vibrant frescoes and echoes of a long-lost empire. But the excitement doesn’t end there! The Painted House will continue its Saturday openings all the way through September, offering even more chances to immerse yourself in history.
Behind the scenes, dedicated teams have been working tirelessly, ensuring this incredible site is not only awe-inspiring but also safe for all adventurers. Brand new facilities, structural reinforcements, a daring new fire escape, and meticulously repaired stairways with a gleaming handrail – all designed for your comfort and security. Even crystal-clear vision panels and a fresh floor underfoot await!
And the best news? Following a damp winter that required meticulous final air sampling, the all-clear has been given! The air within these historic walls is now pristine, ready to welcome both curious visitors and dedicated staff. Since its initial reopening last September, over 3,100 history buffs have already flocked to witness this incredible spectacle. Now, it’s your turn to be captivated!
