Kent Police are searching for witnesses to a terrifying incident on Saturday, August 30, when it is reported a driver repeatedly attempted to run down a man on a broken-down motorcycle. The victim, a man in his 30s, was calling for assistance on Honey Hill in Blean when the assault took place around 5:50pm.

Authorities say that a silver Ford Fiesta was driven aggressively toward the stranded motorcyclist. The vehicle then careered out of control, colliding with a bush before again heading directly for the victim. The man was unharmed and a 56-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of assault and driving under the influence but has since been released on bail as investigations continue. Officers are particularly interested in speaking with a Good Samaritan who parked his car in front of the victim, potentially saving him from serious injury. Police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
