It’s reported residents in three Kent villages have been left without water during the hottest day of the year so far.

Charing, Challock, and Molash first lost supply on Saturday morning due to issues at a South East Water pumping station but while briefly resolved overnight, the outage returned on Sunday morning.

Households have been unable to flush toilets or access basic sanitation!

South East Water has apologised for the ongoing disruption and opened an emergency bottled water station at Challock Village Hall.
